9/4- Fall Sports will begin today. Cross Country, 7th/8th grade boys soccer and 7th grade girls soccer will need to meet in the Murchie gym right after school today. Field Hockey will start tomorrow and 8th grade girls soccer will begin on Monday September 9th. ...
9/3-9/5 -The BEMS Drama club will have an informational meeting on Thursday, September 5th for all students. During this meeting, we will share expectations, collect student information, and prepare for auditions. Any student who wants to be involved in this year’s production on stage or backstage should attend.
Auditions for 7th & 8th graders will be on Monday, Sept 9th. Auditions for 6th graders will be on, September 10th. See Mr. Avery for more information!

Mrs. Amy Doucette is joining us at the middle school as a Resource Special Education Teacher. Mrs. Doucette lives in the district with her husband, two dogs, Remy and Brody, and a cat, George, thirty chickens and four ducks! She is a huge lover of all animals having rescued and fostered many.

Calling all Buddies!
Are you looking to make new friends? Are you looking to make a difference in your school, community and the lives of others?
Bonny Eagle Middle School is looking for 6-8th graders to join the Best Buddies Program!
Best Buddies is a program that is growing around Maine schools. Peers are matched with a buddy in the life skills program to get to know and spend time with during the school year and from there hopefully at school dances, football games etc.
What it will look like:
During lunch at least once a month you will come down to Room 150 and have lunch with your best buddy, or during free times agreed upon between teachers; walks or play games with your buddy. Once a month we will do special activities and there are outside school best buddy events like sea dogs games, lunches, walks, fundraising events, bowling etc.
